Hibiscus
The hibiscus is a flowering plant native in warm tropical regions. It is reminiscent of cranberry and a warm aroma that reminds you of Indian summers. Hibiscus petals are popularly infused in tea, but you can also infuse it into oils. Concoct beautiful drinks with it--like a non-alcoholic hibiscus lemonade or a refreshing cocktail when added with vodka or gin. Other culinary uses for hibiscus petals can be in soups, crumbled and topped in salads.
