Green Peppercorn
Green Peppercorn comes from the same pepper plant as the black peppercorn. It is harvested before it ripens so it retains its green color. When used fresh, green pepper is citrusy with a vegetal taste. It doesn’t have a pronounced peppery taste like the black pepper and is milder and lighter to the palate.
Rehydrate dried green peppercorn to use in Thai curry or grind into course powder to use as spice rub on cheese or steak.
